What is the Mustang Express?

The Mustang Express Pipeline is a 240-mile intrastate natural gas pipeline designed to safely transport up to 2.5 billion cubic feet per day from receipt points in Colorado and Waller County, Texas, to Port Arthur LNG II (“PALNG II”) liquefaction facility in Port Arthur, TX.”

The project aims to reduce flaring, lower energy costs, and strengthen U.S. energy security by connecting vital supply to end-use markets.

Fully Operational Target Date

Expected to be fully operational by 2029, the system will span 240 miles from receipt points in Colorado and Waller County, Texas, to Port Arthur LNG II (“PALNG II”) liquefaction facility in Port Arthur, Texas, including three high-powered compressor stations, and remote-operated valves monitored 24/7.
